Welcome back to term 3.
Today students have brought home a copy of the Kauri notice and the Room 5 weekly newsletter.

Today we did preparation for our Student Led Conferences. We still need a bit of practice but we are getting there.

Just a reminder that school finishes at the normal time for Room 5 - this is why the conferences are spread over 3 days.

Today in assembly Anneke, Grace and James received their BRONZE certificates. Well done.
A number of other Room 5 students will have their names in this week's school newsletter, which will mean they receive their BRONZE certificate at the next full school assembly in week 2.

Future Olympians - Courtney and Jade

Courtney does trampolining at Olympia Gym, and at the weekend attended a trampoline competition. She entered in the Double Mini, Trampoline and Syncro events and placed 3rd in each event. Awesome effort, Courtney.
In a prior competition called Superbounce Courtney competed in a mixed syncro event... and placed 2nd.

Jade does rhythmic gymnastics at Olympia Gym. At a competition held at the weekend she entered 4 different apparatus. At the prizegiving she received a 3rd place medal for teamwork. Way to go, Jade.

Here are the girls fresh from sharing their news with the class.
