Art Attack Term 2, 2014

PERSPECTIVE

This term we are learning about perspective.


We had an introductory lesson last week with Neil Shaskey. Students learned about the HORIZON, VANISHING POINT and ONE-POINT PERSPECTIVE.


We will share some of this art with you very soon.


Tomorrow (Tuesday) we will begin our art attack.


We are going to start with doing a one-point perspective drawing of our name.

Art making. 

First we had to skech a mountain. What we had to do was to draw a mountain with some little bends in it. What I did with the paint was to add some layperson it  to make it look dark.on my paatdis gopy I duded do so wal. Because I did some mistake in it. On my good gopy  I did  my maintain first. It is brown and my sky is yellow. Then after moning tea. We skech our river min was blue. My icon is the cathedral.

For art attack this is what I have done.This is my mountain river and icon.First we watched a video about sketching mountains.We learnt about the colour wheel
Practice copy  good copy.I also used secondary colours.For my panting.My mountain was blue and yellow.My river was slimed green and my icon was a
Church.My church light blue.



First I sketched the mountain then I coped a YouTube video Then I had to shad the sky and the background lightly with a cupel of days .I used a sharpened pensoll . For the sky to make it lightly it was hard to pant it and shad it and after that we took a photo.The YouTube video took a long time for it to finish and I made a couple of mistakes so i haved to rub out and draw it back .the cracks were hard my icon is my Hows it took a cupall of days to do it and my mountain has snow is whit and green black and selver and gray  in the craks it was hard to get it in.

Liam.First I sketched a mountain then I did the shading, and I did the cracks. Then I sha ded the lift side. First we watched a YouTube video.then I did a colour wheel. And I did my good copy then I panted a river and a mountain. And the colours that I used was green blue brown and red and yellow.

First I did the sketch of the mountain.I copyed a YouTube video.I had to shade lightly with a pencil.Then we looked at the colour wheel.When I was up to my practise copy,I used water paints.Also I learnt that secondary colours are the colours you make out of primary colours.when I was up to my good copy I did a river and a mountain.my mountain was yellow and my river was red Enjoyed mixing the colours and painting mountain,it stands out when you look at it.to make shadows I used dark paints it looked good and I was proud of my seif.

We did are art it was fun i like it because it is insurgenting   Doing  art  it is. Cool  I like it and  I like my art I hope we  do it again  .

My mini
First I  started watching a video about  how to sketch a mountain. We also  learnt about the colour wheel. Then  we did our   prates copy. After that we did our reel  copy. The mountain is the colour brown. My mountain's  name is Table Mountain. My  icon's  names  were Queen Protea  and a soccer stadium. My river used to  go right past my house.It was  fun because  we did painting  and I love painting.

A couple of weeks ago it was art week.We had to sketch a mounton a river and a icon.For my mounton I did Mount Cook I painted it brown and it is special to me because when I'm older I might try to climb it.I did a pink river/raspberry fizz river it is actually the Avon River and it is special to me because me and my family go canoeing there sometimes.And finally for my icon I did my house and it is special to me because I have lived there all my life.Altogether it's called my visual mihi.It was so much fun
