Today we went out for our first Jump Rope session with room 6. We are building up to the Jump Rope for Heart fundraiser on Friday September 20. Today we had a play round with the different ropes. Some did individual skipping and some tried out the longer ropes. Here are a couple of pictures of us in action.
ACTIVE THINKER award
Today at Kauri assembly the wonderful GRACE received the Room 5 Active Thinking certificate. Grace uses her initiative and is always helping out. She also completes her morning jobs with out being reminded. Well done, Grace.
Today at Kauri assembly there was a 'challenge' - a milk drinking and folding challenge. Here is Savannah, our student of the week, representing Room 5. Maddison is helping out one of the year 7/8 classes with how to fold up their milk cartoons as they don't get milk.
